Day 1 Departure from the USA

Day 2 Israel Arrival
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where we will be met by our Israeli guide who will accompany us during our entire stay in Israel. Dinner and overnight hotel in Jerusalem

Day 3
Begin the day with a panoramic view of the city from the Mount of Olives, Mount Moriah and the Dome of the Rock and more. Visit the Ascension site, walk along the Palm Sunday road and then visit the Garden of Gethsemane. Walk between the ancient olive trees, read the scriptures of Jesus' prayer and take time for personal reflection.  Dinner and overnight hotel in Jerusalem

Day 4
The new city of Jerusalem. We will view the Menorah a replica, of the Menorah that was in God’s Temple 2000 years ago. We will visit the Israel Museum and view the actual Dead Sea scrolls at the “Shrine of the Book“ here also we will visit the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was in the second temple era. (Jesus times) Later today we will visit the city of Bethlehem, see the Nativity site and the Shepherds fields. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 5 
We visit Mt Zion , the tomb of King David , the house of  Caiphas and the “Upper Room” where the disciple whom Jesus loved laid his head on His Breast and where later Thomas cried; “my Lord & my God”.  From here we will see the ancient Roman Cardo, the Herodian Mansion, and the Western Wall know for many years as the “Wailing Wall”.  Walk along the Via Dolorosa visit Bethesda – St Anne church, the convent of the Sisters of Zion where we will see the ancient Antonia fortress pavements – the trial site and all the way to Calvary and the church of the Holy Sepulcher. End our day at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6
Our day begins with a cable car ride to the mountain top fortress of Massada. Here our guide will treat us to the history of the famous zealot stand.  We'll visit Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.  Afterwards proceed to Ein Gedi, "Spring of the Goat," an oasis on the western shore of the Dead Sea. Because of its warm climate and abundant supply of water, the site developed a reputation for its fragrant plants and date palm groves. This is where King David hid from Saul, and where God defeated the enemies of the Israelites by praise and worship led by King Jehoshaphat. Dinner and overnight hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 7   
Depart Jerusalem after visiting the Mt. of Olives with the Garden of Gethsemani and Church of All Nations. Travel from along the Jordan valley and Jericho. On to the foot of Mt Gilboa and the Biblical trail at Tel Jesreel. Continue to Beit-Shean/Scythopolis, the most magnificent archeological site in Israel, located at the strategic juncture of the Jezreel and Jordan valleys. Like Jericho, it has been almost continuously occupied throughout history. After defeating Saul and his sons on Mt. Gilboa, the Philistines hanged their bodies on the walls of Beit-Shean. (1 Sam 31:10-12)  Archaeologists have uncovered a huge number of ruins of the Roman/Byzantine Scythopolis. During the time of Jesus, Scythopolis was one of the chief cities of the Decapolis. You’re your feet the Jordan River at the Baptismal Site.  Dinner and overnight hotel in Tiberias.

Day 8
Today’s journey takes us to the headwaters of the Jordan River at Banias Biblical Caesarea Philliphi. Hear the confession of Simon Peter and listen to Jesus speak about the founding of His Church. Onto Capernaum to visit an ancient synagogue and Peter’s Home.  See the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes at Tabgha and Mt. Beatitude overlooking the Sea of Galilee: here our Lord gave the Sermon on the Mount to his disciple’s.  Enjoy a boat ride before returning to the hotel. Dinner and overnight Tiberias.         

Day 9 
Start our day visiting Nazareth and Cana.
Continue to a city tour in the city of Haifa overlooking the Bahai gardens and the German colony. Drive to Akko to visit the old port and the Crusaders hall.

Day 10
Drive to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah hid from King Ahab and visit Muchraka the site of the confrontation between Elija and false Baal Prophets. On to Meggido – Biblical Armageddon.   We will drive along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea to see the Roman Amphitheatre and Aqueduct. A visit to the ancient city of Jaffa dating back at least 3500 years.  It was part of Dan’s inheritance when the Israelites settled the land.  During Solomon’s reign, it was a chief seaport used to float the cedars of Lebanon to Jerusalem for use in building the Temple.  Walk through the reconstructed cobble stone streets and see the artists’ quarters and before departing to the airport enjoy a farewell dinner in a local restaurant in Tel Aviv area.

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our flight back home.
